Regrind Use

The use of regrind generated by runner systems or ground up defective parts must be limited to the maximum suggested by the material manufacturer. Typically 20% to 25% regrind is allowable without detrimental effect on physical properties of the raw material. Maximum regrind for many materials are published in the material specification sheets provided by GEPolymerland material guide. Many considerations and testing should be used in determining the amount or if regrind can be used. Some effects of too much regrind will be the loss of physical properties and discoloration.
