Description: QUALITY MANAGER Genesis Plastics & Engineering, LLC, a state-of-the-art custom injection molding facility is experiencing growth/expansion in our customer base and physical facility. We currently have an immediate opening for Quality Manager. The successful candidate for this fast-paced position must be a hands-on manager with comprehensive knowledge of ISO 9001 and TS 16949 standards (Lead Auditor certification desired). The role of the Quality Manager includes the ability to: • Represent customer requirements internally • Define plant quality objectives and monitor progress • Train and supervise employees assigned to the quality the department • Responsible for reporting quality results and maintaining records and documentation • Extensive knowledge of automotive requirements, including PPAP and APQP, is a must • This person should possess plastic injection molding experience, past supervisory experience along with knowledge and use of related quality systems tools, equipment and software • This position requires the ability/desire to interact/communicate with customers as well as Genesis team members along with the ability to manage multiple sites (main facility in Scottsburg, Indiana)

Description: This Position Has the Responsibilities / Authorities For: • To review at the start of the shift all Operator Instructions, Packaging Instructions, and when applicable any visual samples • To judge by controlled visual samples and or Work Instructions, the acceptability of product • To label and withhold any questionable product • To pack only acceptable product per instructions and attach operator labels • To stop the process and notify immediate supervisor if major problems arise • Safe operation of the injection molding press • To maintain housekeeping at press • To complete all departmental paperwork as required • Maintain consistent cycle • Performance of other duties as may be assigned by supervisor

Skills: Needed competencies include: • Understanding of Quality Policy and how it affects their job • Understand Production Standards • Understanding work instructions and operator instructions • Ability to maintain production standards

Salary: Hourly plus Bonus


Due Date: 1/1/2014

Description: To perform maintenance to all machines / equipment according to Maintenance Work Orders. To maintain the Preventative Maintenance Schedule for all machines / equipment. Maintain housekeeping of maintenance area to prevent loss or damage. Maintain maintenance supplies through the submission of requisitions to the Manufacturing Manager. To complete all departmental paperwork as required. The training of all personnel requiring "Fork Lift" training. Performance of other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
