Description: Genesis Plastics & Engineering, LLC, a state-of-the-art plastic injection molding facility located in Scottsburg, Indiana, has an immediate opening for a Purchasing Agent. This is a first shift position. Skills: The successful candidate must be able to own the inventory process by placing orders for raw materials as guided by our MRP system and ensuring adequate quantities on hand through continuous professional communication with internal customers and external suppliers. Knowledge of purchasing and plastics is helpful but not required. Organizational and computer skills and the ability to communicate in a clear and timely manner are a must.

Maintenance

Due Date: 3/31/2016

Description: The successful candidate for this fast-paced position must: Perform maintenance to all machines/equipment according to Maintenance Work Orders; maintain the Preventative Maintenance Schedule for all machines/equipment; complete all departmental paperwork; general housekeeping of Maintenance Department: supply orders; forklift training.

Skills: Electrical (120-480 volt)knowledge. Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and preventative maintenance of injection molding machines including auxiliary equipment.

Salary: Experience Based

Process Engineer/Technician

Due Date: 3/31/2016

Description: Responsibilities include: sampling new molds, verification of process at mold change, monitoring and maintaining process parameters. Other key responsibilities include: process improvements, recommendation of tooling improvements, and overall support of the injection molding process.

Skills: This position requires 3-5 years processing experience with engineering-grade material.

Due Date: 12/31/2016

Description: This position has the Responsibilities / Authorities For: • To review at the start of the shift all Operator Instructions, packaging instructions, and when applicable any visual samples • To judge by controlled visual samples and or work instructions, the acceptability of product • To label and withhold any questionable product • To pack only acceptable product per instructions and attach operator labels • To stop the process and notify immediate supervisor if major problems arise • Safe operation of the injection molding press • To maintain housekeeping at press • To complete all departmental paperwork as required • Maintain consistent cycle • Performance of other duties as may be assigned by supervisor

Skills: Needed competencies include: • Understanding of Quality Policy and how it affects their job • Understand Production Standards • Understanding work instructions and operator instructions • Ability to maintain production standards

Salary: Hourly plus Bonus
